Lando Norris introduces LN4 Fusion - a brand new single seater racing team.

A special announcement had been teased by Lando Norris for a few weeks now and as promised, on the 2^nd of September the F1 world champion announces his surprise. ‘LN4 Fusion’ , along with a livery featuring his signature neon patterns, is planning to debut on track in the 2027 junior categories, Italian F4, FIA F3 and has

submitted to enter FIA F2. The team is also working towards entering the British F4, with a testing programme already in play. Lando wrote on his Instagram, ‘I was lucky to enough to achieve my dream and now I want to help others achieve theirs’. 

The driver also announced the ‘LN4 legacy Programme’ which aims to financially back developing drivers who face financial barriers in the increasingly expensive sport. What better way to celebrate winning your first world championship than to give back to the racing community.

Norris announced that LN4 fusion is ‘built with people I trust, people who’ve experienced all levels of motorsport and knows exactly what it takes to win’. The team is co-founded along with Dan Richards who is responsible for the commercial, corporate and infrastructure of the business.

LN4 Fusion has already acquired assets from the German team AIX which has allowed the team to avoid the lengthy process of applying for a new F3 slot and guarantees their right to compete in F3 till the end of 2027.

The Fusion Motorsport team is a successful British Karting team who have joined forces to launch 'LN4 Fusion' with Lando Norris. They will be fundamental for the teams’ British operations. The teams chief Dan Halewood is set to oversee 'LN4 Fusions’ British F4 entry and test programme.

The other members of the managing team have also been introduced as Dan Roberts who will be the teams CEO. Former boss of the popular Prema team, Rene Rosin will join as team principle and is likely to oversee the teams’ racing activities in Europe alongside Guillaume Capietto who will join as racing director. Drivers are set to be announced ‘hopefully soon’ says Norris.

Lando Norris earned the world championship title in 2025 after a long season battle to the finish line of the last race. He has just announced a contract extension with his team McLaren. A team he has been a part of since the start of his F1 career. After a few years of struggles with the previous McLaren cars as well as mental health struggles, he is a driver who understands the need for a strong foundation within the racing community in order to achieve wins.
